The agreement was that I would not fish so all my gear stayed in Montreal....I could resist a few days but fishing a crystal clear mountain stream like the Ellis river has always been a dream of mine...and as an added bonus a very nice fly shop (
http://www.northcountryangler.com) was within a 10 minutes drive from my hotel! You can easily imagine what followed.....the next morning I was wading this superb river with rented gear! Here are a few pics of that great morning!
[FR] Durant la première moitié du mois d'août, je suis allé passer quelques jours de vacances en famille dans la région des White Mountains dans le New Hampshire. Je n'étais pas supposé aller à la pêche et laissais donc mon matériel à Montréal. J'ai pu résister à la tentation quelques jours mais je rêvais depuis trop longtemps de pêcher une rivière montagneuse à l'eau cristalline comme la Ellis. http://www.northcountryangler.com) se trouvait à une dizaine de minutes de mon hôtel! La suite est facile à imaginer.....le lendemain matin j'étais sur cette rivière magnifique avec du matériel de location! Voici quelques photos de la superbe matinée qui s'en suivit!
